    Our mission is accomplished by the following: Draft, interpret, publicize, disseminate, and enforce standards of behavior and related student conduct policies and procedures. Promote academic integrity and responsible conduct. Provide a means to report concerns regarding behavior of UCR students. Assure due process rights are afforded to students who participate in the student conduct process. Facilitate learning experiences and opportunities for ethical growth and development for students who participate in the discipline, grievance, and conflict resolution processes. Foster respect for others and for the University's work of teaching, research, and service. Provide a voice for students, faculty, and staff in the student conduct process via the conduct committees. Serve as a resource for the campus community, including students, faculty, and staff.

    Student Disability Resource Center (SDRC)

    The Student Disability Resource Center (SDRC) serves students with permanent and temporary disabilities. Our staff will assist you with general information about all SDRC services , as well as any required paperwork and applicable documentation. Services are free, voluntary and confidential to all regularly enrolled students with a verified disability. A personal consultation will help us individually tailor a plan to meet your disability-related needs to access academic and campus programs, including but not limited to classes, housing, parking, residence hall dining, etc. We are offering a new mentor program for incoming students. We also collaborate with other campus offices and departments, and Student Disability Union.

    Welcome! We are the Student Disability Union at UCR! Our purpose is to create an inclusive, safe, and engaging group on campus that empowers UCR's disabled community and promotes acceptance through advocacy and education. We hold events that actively collaborate with students and other diverse organizations/clubs to bring the disabled student population together to establish a community, encourage discussion, and participate in fun socials. The ultimate goal is to build relationships, cultivate campus connections, and give a collective voice to an underrepresented and misunderstood minority. ALL UCR students, with or without disabilities, are welcome to participate!     Student Life

    Student Life is dedicated to the education and development of UCR's diverse student body and to creating a meaningful, learning-centered campus life for students at the University. Student Life works in active partnership with students, faculty, and staff colleagues to foster and support student opportunities for learning, involvement, leadership, community building, and creative expression that complement classroom experiences. Student Life further supports student organizations and their leaders, and they in turn provide programs and resources to the student body and the wider University community. In the office of Student Life, staff work to support student organizations, Highlander Orientation, commuter programs, leadership development programs, veterans services, and first-year programs. For student organizations, each "cluster" of organizations has a designated Student Life Advisor. This person provides resources and information to support student organization functions such as event planning, leadership development, and officer transition for student organization leaders. The Student Life Advisors also facilitate workshops, and assist students in navigating the UCR campus. Here are the various clusters for student organizations! We seek to promote a healthcare system committed to improving access, quality, and affordability of care for the medically underserved communities of Inland Southern California and beyond, regardless of patients' socioeconomic status, race, gender, sexual orientation, age, residency status, or disability.     Success in Science and Technology: Engagement with Role Models

    SISTERS stands for Success in Science and Technology: Engagement with Role Models. The goal of this organization is to facilitate group meetings using the role-model approach to encourage middle school girls to attend college and pursue careers in STEM. Our meetings are solely led by female STEM undergraduate students to ensure that the girls have strong female role models in STEM. Our organization will host female leaders in various STEM disciplines to present about their careers, education, and hardships that they overcame to get to where they are now. This year, we are planning to continue educating middle school students about careers in STEM through field trips, presentations, social issue seminars, and activities led by leaders in STEM. We will be hosting a hybrid format, and are excited to mentor and inspire middle school students to pursue STEM education/careers.

    Supporting and Mentoring Aspiring Students in Highschool

    SMASH's project goal is to provide free and accessible tutoring for STEM related subjects at Ramona High School. We provide tutoring every Tuesday and Thursday after school and help students with homework problems, create practice problems, and review previous tests/quizzes that students may have taken. With our easily accessible tutoring service, we have been able to help students pass classes and gain a better understanding of the material they struggle with. For future work, we are currently planning on holding a college student panel where UCR CNAS Ambassadors can speak of their experience as college students and give the students of Ramona High School a run down of what to expect as college students. We plan to continue tutoring and help students gain a better understanding of STEM related concepts.

    The purpose of this organization shall be to collaborate and work on projects that promote environmental sustainability and new green technologies. As students, we want to prove that we have the capability of developing new technologies and solving problems that work towards protecting our environment while learning and developing skills applicable to our future professions. In order to ensure that we are a diverse student organization that provides experience to all students of all industries, we will depend on the talents, knowledge, and skill sets of students across many different majors. Our purpose is to have a platform for motivated students to obtain skills and knowledge in the multi-layered process of planning, design, and construction while utilizing methodology ranging from business, to scientific, and philosophical ideologies. We want to prove to our community that we, as UCR students, are capable of working collaboratively across multiple disciplines and fields of study together for the betterment of the environment. We value the environment and want our green projects to be an inspiring factor to raise awareness of creating an achievable sustainable future. Our guiding principles are to be inclusive, innovative, and inspirational as we use our research designs to encourage others to find more sustainable practices.

    Sweet Society at UCR

    Sweet Society at UCR, is focused on teaching students how to create mind-blowing desserts with the simple ingredients found in their kitchens. We provide educational content focused on proper practices when preparing and serving different baked goods, such as cookies, brownies, cinnamon rolls, etc. Sweet Society at UCR is focused on making all of our recipes available for public use, so that anyone can learn to bake.     Syrian American Medical Society

    The Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) was founded in 1998 in the United States as a professional society to provide networking, educational, cultural, and professional services to medical professionals of Syrian descent. SAMS Foundation, the charitable arm of SAMS, was launched in 2007. Since then, SAMS has become one of the most active and leading medical relief organizations working on the front lines of crisis relief in Syria, neighboring countries, and beyond. SAMS has since implemented an integrated model of essential services that emphasizes priority needs, including the delivery of medical education, training, and financial support for physicians and other healthcare workers inside Syria and in neighboring countries. SAMS has established field hospitals, intensive care units, dental and primary care clinics, birth and newborn care facilities, mobile medical units, and dialysis centers.

    The Cultural Awareness Project

    The Cultural Awareness Project is an opportunity for students to raise their level of Cultural Competence and have a positive impact on Campus Climate . Participation in CAP provides students the chance to learn the skills necessary to thrive and succeed in an increasingly globalized and diverse society. Participants will get a chance to learn more about their own identity—how it shapes their experience both on campus and outside of the University—and they will learn the skills necessary to have civil dialogue and collaborate with people different from themselves.

    The Deejays and Vinylphiles Club

    Our Story The DVC at UCR was started by Richard Nguyen (DJ Simplex) in Jan. 2014 as a means to create UCR's first network of deejays. A club extended from San Diego to Riverside, the DVC brings people together with a similar passion for music. Today, the club continues to act as a network, while additionally providing new and aspiring deejays the lessons and experience required to become a great deejay. In the past, DVC has played at UCR's Block Party, Heat Music Festival and Spring Splash concerts. Our alumni & current deejays have gone on to deejay at Coachella , Sevilla of Riverside, Teregram Ballroom Los Angeles and Brownies & Lemonade . Who We Are No prior deejay, music production or music experience is required to join DVC at UCR. General meetings range from discussions about deejay philosophy to mixing demonstrations to modern music analyzation to marketing yourself as an artist at UC Riverside. DVC also hosts a mentorship/house programs, where members are assigned into "houses", to better streamline learning and artist growth. The house system also creates a sense of competitiveness in the club, while the general events creates a family around the DVC community. DVC holds in-house competitions, production workshops and general mixing sessions to showcase the art of deejaying and music. DVC also hosts events called Fireplaces; live-streamed events where DVC members socialize and play out their diverse music choices.
