Students for a National Health Program (SNaHP) at UCR is dedicated to advancing health equity through education, advocacy, and scholarship in support of a universal, single-payer health care system. Grounded in the belief that health care is a human right, our chapter works to promote patient-centered care, physician autonomy, and health policy that prioritizes public good over profit. We seek to promote a healthcare system committed to improving access, quality, and affordability of care for the medically underserved communities of Inland Southern California and beyond, regardless of patients' socioeconomic status, race, gender, sexual orientation, age, residency status, or disability. Our efforts are aimed at achieving our ultimate goal of repairing our broken health system through the implementation of a single payer healthcare system for all.
