    Article II of the Fraternity Constitution reads: The objects of this Fraternity shall be to foster high ideals of friendship among college women, to promote their educational and cultural interests, to create in them a true sense of social responsibility, and to develop in them the best qualities of character. Delta Gamma’s primary purpose is to create an environment for its members in which lasting friendships are established and in which members find the processes, the experiences and the disciplines that will stimulate clear thought. Its aim is to foster an atmosphere in which women will develop a deeper love and consideration for mankind, a more profound understanding of the purpose of life and a basic wisdom upon which to build their lives.     Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. is a private, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. The organization is a sisterhood of predominantly Black, college educated women. Since its founding, more than 300,000 women have joined the organization. The sorority currently has 1,000 collegiate and alumnae chapters located in the United States, England, Japan (Tokyo and Okinawa), Germany, the Virgin Islands, Bermuda, the Bahamas, Jamaica and the Republic of Korea. The major programs of the sorority are based upon the organization's Five Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement.

    Designing Dreams is UCR's sewing club! We hold follow along step-by-step workshops which are designed for COMPLETE beginners so you can learn to design your sewing dreams. You can also design other’s dreams by participating in our volunteer opportunities avaliable only for active members. This group of sewists will volunteer at shelters/hospitals to make the kids there the outfits of their dreams. We also hold very fun events from time to time for our members to show off their sewing creations!

    DKMS at UCR

    We are an organization dedicated to fighting blood cancer and disorders by creating awareness and recruiting stem cell donors to provide a second chance at life to those in need. We do this by providing registration forms and swab kits so volunteers can sign themselves up to join the potential donor list. We provide all the materials including swab kits and registration materials, and postage as well as mailing/submitting for potential donors, so to sign up is cost free and as simple as possible.

    First Generation Student Association

    First-Year Mentor Program

    First-year students that register for the First Year Mentor Program are paired with a trained peer mentor (sophomore, junior, or senior student). The mentors will help first year students with their transition to the university and make them feel at home in the academic environment. Students will meet with their mentor bi-weekly throughout the entire first year as they acquire the skills needed to become successful in college.     Flying Samaritans at UCR

Students, physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and other caring volunteers travel monthly to medical clinics in El Hongo, Mexico to provide free health care. Since 2014, the Society of Automotive Engineers at UC Riverside has been empowering engineering students to learn and gain experience that will be used after graduation in many industries worldwide. Although traditionally thought of as a Mechanical Engineering Organization, our club has evolved into a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and business professionals throughout the years. We have several cars under our belt and have transitioned to building formula-style electric vehicles. Our alumni network includes professionals in highly competitive companies such as Tesla, Rivian, SpaceX, Anduril, etc. Through the years of operation, our program has encouraged the growth and development of bleeding-edge technologies, including the design and development of AC Synchronous Electric Motors, Lithium-Ion battery packs, complex mechanical drivetrain systems, air intake manifolds, and so much more. As we continue to venture forward, we expect to build the second competitive electric vehicle as a team! We travel to competition every year to compete against 75 other colleges and this year it is in Michigan.
