First Generation Student Association

Through reaching out to first generation students on campus, we hope to cultivate personal improvement through mentorship within our members. As first generation students, the effort to break the standard can be done through a higher education, thus the establishment of this organization. Whether you're a first generation college student, first generation immigrant, or the first generation in your family to be born in the States, FGSA is a open and safe space to make connections and share your story. It is common for first generation students to be independent and solve issues themselves. With this space, we hope to exchange knowledge and help one another succeed.
