The Medical Emergency Education Project strives to help alleviate health issues by equipping UC Riverside students, faculty, and staff, as well as the Inland Empire community, with the necessary resources for medical emergencies. We offer Basic Life Support and First Aid certification classes in an effort to increase the awareness and knowledge of emergency skills and techniques that could help save a life. Our organization grants the leadership opportunity to become an instructor to continue spreading the knowledge of Basic Life Support and First Aid. This not only helps students pursue potential routes to emergency medicine or emergency medical services but also help them apply the knowledge to serve underserved communities within the Inland Empire and wherever their future may take them!
