Lambda Theta Alpha serves to provide a sisterhood based on unity, love, and respect. Our goal is to provide social and cultural activities and to carry on charitable and educational programs; all while strengthening leadership, maintaining high academic standards, and ultimately serving as a voice for UCR community. Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority Inc, was established at the University of California, Riverside on May of 2001 on the basis of academia achievement with goals of community and political activism. Not to mention, we were the recipients of the 2011-2012, Scholarship Pillar Award in recognition of our commitment to outstanding academic achievements, at the Pillars Banquet this past year. Ultimately as an organization, Lambda Theta Alpha thrives in its academic achievement and our annual Strong Women, Strong Minds Scholarship giveaway/banquet is our biggest and most recognized event all year.
