At Heal the People, we are dedicated to addressing health disparities and the social determinants of health affecting Riverside County’s most vulnerable populations, particularly unhoused residents. Our mission focuses on creating lasting impact through action and advocacy. As members, we will volunteer to gather and distribute social services and resources to unhoused individuals at local shelters. We’ll collaborate with social workers to understand community needs, health disparities, and the factors that influence the well-being of our community members. Additionally, we will lead initiatives to protect the rights of unhoused residents by advocating for stronger laws and increased funding from local government. Through outreach, partnerships, and advocacy, we aim to empower individuals experiencing homelessness, enhance access to resources, and promote dignity and equity for all.
