Community Engaged Learning

"Where academia meets the community" UCR Community Engaged Learning is an educational initiative integrating community service, service learning through courses, academic internships, and community-based research! Many UCR students and orgs are involved in the community, and we want to support connections between that service and academic work. We will highlight student reflections about the g reat connections they are seeing between their studies, their service, and their future careers. Our current focus is to assist with service learning opportunities in the local community by partnering courses with organizations from various fields – from law to education to environmental science and many more! Our goal is to give back to the community and help students get real life experience within their field.
