The Global Legal Empowerment Brigades chapter at UCR is a non-profit organization that focuses on providing free legal services and education to rural, under-resourced communities that lack access to such. Our volunteers travel to communities located in Ghana, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama, while accompanied by lawyers and human rights activists. By assisting lawyers and activists in legal clinics and educational workshops, our volunteers learn about various ways to advocate for human rights and create a more empowered and secure community.
