Established in 2010, the American Sign Language Club at UCR provides individuals a place to learn more about ASL, the American Deaf Community, and Deaf Culture. Specifically, we aim to develop and enhance receptive and expressive ASL skills and increase awareness and knowledge of ASL and Deaf culture through a variety of exciting outlets, including free ASL and Deaf history lessons, ASL games and activities, and participation in local Deaf events. We welcome all students, faculty, and community members, regardless of prior ASL experience and fluency. Our main communication method with members is via Google Groups, so please email us to be added in order to remain up to date or click this link: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/aslclubatucr
