Geology Student Organization

This organization strives to motivate students to learn about their surroundings and local geology regardless of major. We accomplish this goal through informative trips that unite us with nature either through hiking, rock hounding, or camping trips. GSO is also a resource for students. Members can obtain advice on classes and even assistance on any geology related coursework. In addition, we encourage students to network with faculty, peers, and local geoscience professionals to gain insight into this underrepresented field. If you appreciate and enjoy learning about the outdoors, then join us on our next trip! We welcome all students.
