Commuter Programs at UCR

Many students choose to commute to UCR, meaning that they live at home or maybe in the nearby apartment complexes. To help them in their daily lives, Commuter Programs helps to students make friends with other commuters. We also strive to educate them on campus events and services that might make their time at UCR a little easier. We have several events that we plan during the academic year such as the Commuter Welcome, Commuter Pit Stops, Traditions Keeper events, meetups with other commuter students, and more! If you have questions about ways to save money on travel, nearby apartments that might be suitable for you, or what's happening around, get connected with Commuter Programs! We're always looking for volunteers and new ideas to support commuter students, so if you have an idea or want to create an event for other commuter students, we would love to hear it!
